What You'll Do
- Manage a caseload of family law matters, including:
- Divorce
- Child custody
- Child support
- Legal separation
- Parenting plans
- Related family law disputes
- Counsel clients through complex and emotionally sensitive legal matters
- Draft and prepare:
- Motions
- Pleadings
- Settlement agreements
- Parenting plans
- Other family law documents
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies tailored to client objectives
- Represent clients in:
- Court hearings
- Motion practice
- Depositions
- Negotiations
- Settlement conferences
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members
- Move cases forward efficiently while providing exceptional legal representation and client service
Qualifications
- 3+ years of family law practice experience required
- Active license and good standing with the applicable State Bar
- Experience handling:
- Divorce matters
- Child custody disputes
- Child support issues
- Legal separation matters
- Related family law proceedings
- Strong litigation, motion practice, negotiation, and courtroom skills
- Ability to independently manage a busy caseload
- Excellent legal writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong client service orientation and ability to work effectively in emotionally charged situations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $120,000 – $225,000, depending on experience and production
