A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its Tampa office. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney who wants to build a long-term practice representing employers in sophisticated labor and employment disputes while working alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong litigation background, exceptional writing skills, and experience handling employment-related matters from inception through resolution.

What You'll Do
- Represent employers in labor and employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and prepare:
- Pleadings
- Motions
- Discovery requests and responses
- Legal memoranda
- Position statements
- Client correspondence
- Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, depositions, and discovery disputes
- Participate in hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and witnesses throughout the litigation process
- Develop litigation strategy and provide practical legal guidance to clients
- Manage multiple active matters while ensuring compliance with court deadlines and client expectations
- Collaborate with partners and litigation teams to deliver high-quality legal representation
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar admission required
- 4+ years of litigation experience required
- Labor and employment litigation experience required
- Strong experience with:
- Motion practice
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Legal research and writing
- Case management
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters while collaborating effectively with a team
- Strong academic credentials preferred
- Prior labor and employment law firm experience preferred

- Salary range: $145,000 – $180,000, depending on experience
