What You'll Do
- Support 2–4 attorneys in a high-volume commercial litigation practice
- Prepare, proofread, and finalize:
- Pleadings
- Motions
- Briefs
- Discovery documents
- Legal correspondence
- Manage federal and state court filings, including:
- E-filing procedures
- Court-specific formatting requirements
- Filing deadlines and docket management
- Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and task tracking systems
- Coordinate all aspects of discovery, including:
- Document collection
- Organization and production
- Subpoenas
- Litigation support logistics
- Assist with deposition preparation, hearing preparation, exhibits, and trial binders
- Communicate professionally with courts, vendors, opposing counsel, and litigation support providers
- Proactively anticipate case needs and support attorney workflows to ensure matters move efficiently and accurately
Qualifications
- 3+ years of commercial litigation or complex litigation paralegal experience required
- Federal court litigation experience required, including:
- E-filing
- Court rules and procedures
- Formatting requirements
- Deadline management
- Exceptional proofreading and quality-control skills
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced practice supporting multiple attorneys
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 – $125,000, depending on experience
