What You'll Do

Strategic Marketing & Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute company-wide marketing, communications, and growth strategies
  • Strengthen brand awareness and market positioning across Alaska and targeted markets
  • Build and maintain a consistent brand identity across all platforms, campaigns, and affiliated entities
  • Identify emerging market opportunities through competitive intelligence and market research

Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Oversee:
  • Website strategy and optimization
  • SEO and digital advertising initiatives
  • Social media strategy and execution
  • Content development and storytelling
  • Photography and videography programs
  • Marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Drive top-of-funnel engagement and visibility through integrated marketing efforts

Business Development & Growth Support

  • Partner with executive leadership and preconstruction teams to strengthen pursuit strategies
  • Support client targeting and relationship-building efforts early in the project lifecycle
  • Enhance proposal messaging, differentiation, and overall win rates
  • Develop reporting and dashboards to measure campaign effectiveness, engagement, qualified opportunities, and business impact

Communications, PR & Community Engagement

  • Lead public relations initiatives, community outreach efforts, sponsorships, and industry visibility programs
  • Oversee award submissions, conferences, events, stakeholder engagement, and corporate communications
  • Promote company culture, safety achievements, project successes, and industry leadership

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

  • Manage marketing staff, agencies, consultants, creative partners, and media relationships
  • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Stay current on emerging marketing technologies, AI tools, and industry trends


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing, branding, communications, advertising, or growth experience
  • 3+ years of leadership, strategic marketing management, or team/vendor management experience
  • Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Experience managing:
  • Digital marketing initiatives
  • Social media platforms
  • Brand strategy
  • Content marketing programs
  • Public relations efforts
  • Strong writing, storytelling, presentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent project management, strategic planning, and execution abilities
  • Experience with marketing platforms and tools such as:
  • HubSpot
  • Google Analytics
  • WordPress
  • SEO tools
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Canva
  • Similar marketing technologies
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of marketing or growth leadership experience
  • Experience within:
  • Commercial construction
  • AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction)
  • Real estate development
  • Professional services
  • Multi-brand organizations
  • Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, media relations, agency management, and corporate communications
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred
