Senior Backend Engineer, Integrations

Location: United States (Remote)

Compensation: $175,000 - $210,000

Overview

This position focuses on expanding the integrations that power a crypto portfolio and tax tracking platform. The system supports tracking of billions in assets across thousands of cryptocurrencies, helping users make informed and compliant financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build new features, products, integrations, and back-end services.
• Design and maintain scalable systems supporting millions of users.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams.
• Develop new blockchain and exchange integrations and enrich blockchain data with DeFi categorization.
• Contribute to the product roadmap through technical and domain expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally within crypto, fintech, or data engineering.
• Experience with scalable, production-grade systems.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, system design, and distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Python and cloud technologies (AWS or GCP).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work across time zones and within core collaboration hours.
