A highly respected Florida law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Bankruptcy & Restructuring practice in Tampa. What You'll Do
- Represent corporate debtors and other parties in Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, bankruptcy filings and other substantive legal documents
- Conduct legal research and analyze complex bankruptcy and insolvency issues
- Assist with:
- Court hearings
- Client meetings
- Negotiations
- Bankruptcy proceedings
- Support out-of-court restructurings and workout transactions
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on sophisticated commercial matters
- Assist with related commercial litigation arising from bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings
- Provide practical legal guidance while helping clients navigate complex financial challenges
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar admission required
- Approximately 2+ years of legal experience
- Bankruptcy, restructuring, or insolvency experience preferred
- Strong commercial litigation experience will also be considered
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Professional, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced practice
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $100,000 – $130,000, depending on experience
