Our client, OSEH Inc., is looking for an experienced Transportation Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex transportation infrastructure projects throughout the Chicago region.


This position is ideal for a licensed Professional Engineer with a strong background in roadway and transportation design who enjoys leading multidisciplinary teams, managing client relationships, and delivering successful projects from planning through construction.


What You'll Do

  • Manage transportation engineering projects from concept through construction.
  • Lead teams of engineers, designers, and technical staff.
  • Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, agencies, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, environmental regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Review technical reports, plans, specifications, estimates, and project documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
  • Participate in public meetings, presentations, and client communications.
  • Oversee quality control processes for project deliverables.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred but not required).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 7+ years of transportation engineering experience.
  • Proven success managing transportation infrastructure projects from design through construction.
  • Strong knowledge of roadway design, traffic engineering, and transportation project delivery.
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with public agencies such as IDOT, Illinois Tollway, CDOT, or local municipalities is highly preferred.
