About the Opportunity
A growing restoration and reconstruction company is seeking a Reconstruction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial property restoration projects throughout the Lehigh Valley area.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on restoration, reconstruction, disaster recovery, or insurance repair experience who enjoys managing projects from start to finish while working directly with customers, crews, subcontractors, and insurance stakeholders. You’ll play a key role helping homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, storm, mold, and other property damage events.

What You’ll Do
- Manage restoration and reconstruction projects from inspection through completion
- Oversee:
- Budgets
- Schedules
- Production timelines
- Job costs
- Quality control
- Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, temporary labor, and material suppliers
- Conduct site inspections, document losses, gather measurements, and prepare scope notes
- Communicate with:
- Customers
- Tenants
- Insurance adjusters
- Internal teams
- Field personnel
- Schedule projects based on deadlines, labor availability, and customer expectations
- Ensure crews are prepared with proper materials, scopes, and project information
- Maintain accurate project updates in management software and internal systems
- Resolve customer concerns and project issues professionally and efficiently
- Support referral relationships and maintain a strong reputation in the market
- Assist with project billing and collections to ensure profitability
- Enforce safety standards and maintain high-quality workmanship
- Participate in a 24-hour emergency on-call rotation
Qualifications
- 3+ years of restoration, reconstruction, disaster recovery, insurance repair, or related project management experience required
- Experience managing:
- Subcontractors
- Vendors
- Field crews
- Budgets
- Schedules
- Customer communication
- Strong understanding of residential and/or commercial repair and reconstruction workflows
- Comfortable working both in-office and in active job site environments
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office
- Google Workspace
- Mobile technology
- Project management software
- Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Willingness to participate in emergency after-hours/on-call rotation
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $65,000 – $75,000
