A highly respected law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Associate Attorney to join its established Construction Law practice in Tampa. What You'll Do
- Represent construction industry clients in litigation, contract, licensing, and advisory matters
- Draft and prepare:
- Pleadings
- Motions
- Discovery requests and responses
- Legal memoranda
- Construction contracts
- Client correspondence
- Conduct legal research involving:
- Case law
- Statutes
- Administrative regulations
- Public records
- Court and administrative filings
- Construction industry standards and building codes
- Manage all phases of litigation, including:
- Discovery
- Deposition preparation
- Motion practice
- Trial preparation
- Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and industry professionals
- Assist with construction contract review, licensing issues, and risk management strategies
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop litigation strategy and practical legal solutions
- Manage multiple active matters while meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional client service
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar admission required
- 4+ years of construction law, construction litigation, or construction-focused commercial litigation experience
- Prior law firm experience required
- Strong experience with:
- Motion practice
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Legal research
- Legal writing
- Trial preparation
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage assignments while collaborating within a team environment
Preferred Experience

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $155,000 – $190,000, depending on experience
