About the Opportunity

A prominent national law firm is seeking a Business Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Minneapolis office.

The position offers the opportunity to handle sophisticated complex commercial and business litigation for a national and international client base. The practice handles a wide variety of high-stakes disputes, giving associates exposure to complex matters while working alongside experienced litigators.

What You Will Do

Depending on experience and case needs, matters may include:

• Consumer class actions
• Antitrust litigation
• M&A-related litigation
• Securities and shareholder litigation
• Corporate governance disputes
• Franchise litigation
• Contractor classification disputes
• Real estate financing and development disputes
• Multidistrict and multi-forum litigation

Associates will participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery and e-discovery, legal research, motion practice, case strategy, and other substantive responsibilities.

What We Are Looking For

• Approximately 2–5 years of law firm litigation experience
• Experience with litigation procedure, discovery, and e-discovery
• Deposition, hearing, and/or oral argument experience is a plus
• Active bar membership
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong academic credentials, including a minimum 3.2 law school GPA
