About the Role

Our client is seeking an Assistant Director, Program Operations to help lead and scale the delivery of programs across a multi-site partner network. This is a central operations leadership role, not a site-based position. You will be responsible for ensuring programs run smoothly across locations by managing people, processes, and performance.


You’ll work closely with senior leadership to execute operational strategy while overseeing instructor teams, program logistics, and partner satisfaction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys owning complex operations, building systems, and leading teams at scale.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of enrichment programs across multiple partner locations
  • Manage instructor workforce including recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Own scheduling, staffing, and logistics to ensure seamless program execution
  • Monitor program performance, KPIs, and customer satisfaction metrics
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with school and institutional partners
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting
  • Lead internal meetings and ensure alignment on priorities and execution timelines
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Partner with senior leadership on growth and expansion initiatives


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or multi-site service delivery
  • Background in EdTech, education services, youth programs, camps, or similar operational environments preferred
  • Proven experience managing teams, including hiring, training, and performance management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience overseeing logistics, scheduling, or workforce planning
  • Data-driven mindset with experience tracking performance metrics and reporting
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage internal teams and external partners
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Workspace


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-growth or fast-paced operational environments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, scheduling platforms, or learning management systems
  • Experience supporting multi-location or distributed program delivery
  • Background in education, business, or a related field
