What You'll Do
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop and execute litigation strategy throughout all phases of complex commercial litigation
- Draft and prepare:
- Pleadings
- Discovery requests and responses
- Dispositive motions
- Legal memoranda
- Substantive briefs
- Conduct legal research and develop persuasive legal arguments
- Argue motions and appear in state and federal court proceedings
- Take and defend fact witness and expert witness depositions
- Manage discovery, including discovery disputes and related motion practice
- Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic guidance throughout the litigation process
- Support complex business disputes through trial, settlement, or resolution
Qualifications
- Active Florida Bar admission required
- 3+ years of commercial or business litigation experience
- Strong experience with:
- Motion practice
- Discovery
- Depositions
- Legal research
- Brief writing
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to manage assignments independently while working collaboratively within a litigation team
- Strong analytical, organizational, and client communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $180,000 – $275,000, depending on experience
