What You'll Do
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury litigation
- Draft and prepare:
- Pleadings
- Discovery responses
- Legal correspondence
- Motions and litigation-related documents
- Request, review, organize, and summarize:
- Medical records
- Medical bills
- Treatment records
- Case-related documentation
- Manage court filings, e-filings, deadlines, and litigation calendars
- Assist with trial preparation, including:
- Exhibits
- Witness preparation
- Jury instructions
- Voir dire materials
- Verdict sheets
- Help prepare matters for settlement, resolution, and final disbursement
- Communicate professionally with:
- Clients
- Courts
- Medical providers
- Opposing counsel
- Litigation support professionals
- Maintain organized files and ensure cases progress efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience required
- Strong experience with:
- Pleadings
- Discovery
- E-filing
- Medical records review
- Trial preparation
- Experience handling:
- Premises liability claims
- Automobile accident cases
- Construction accident matters
- Municipal liability cases
- Other plaintiff-side personal injury litigation preferred
- Paralegal certificate preferred, or equivalent hands-on litigation experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive professional
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $70,000 – $80,000, depending on experience
