Salary: $150,000 – $225,000 base salary

Remote (Southern California preferred, not required)

If you're a California-licensed attorney with construction defect defense experience, this is an opportunity to take ownership of your cases, deepen your litigation experience, and work remotely. This role offers hands-on litigation from the start, with direct responsibility and client interaction.


What You Will Do

  • Defend construction defect cases for developers, builders, and subcontractors
  • Handle rideshare and personal injury defense matters as needed
  • Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
  • Manage discovery, meet and confer strategy, and case deadlines
  • Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses
  • Work with experts and manage expert discovery
  • Support mediations, settlement strategy, and client communication


What We’re Looking For

  • Active California Bar license (required)
  • Construction defect insurance defense experience (required)
  • At least 1 year of civil litigation experience (insurance defense preferred)
  • Strong legal writing, organization, and ability to manage deadlines in a remote environment
  • Bonus points for experience in rideshare defense, personal injury, or general liability is a plus.
