What You Will Do
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury litigation
- Prepare and maintain:
- Medical expense summaries
- Medical record summaries
- Wage loss summaries
- Draft:
- Demand letters and demand packages
- Arbitration and mediation briefs
- Basic discovery motions
- Respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories and requests for production
- Review and summarize deposition transcripts
- Create PowerPoint presentations for mediations, arbitrations, and trial
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Coordinate inspections and litigation logistics
- Communicate with clients and assist with case updates
- Assist with lien negotiations under attorney supervision
- Provide additional litigation support as needed
Requirements
- 2+ years of litigation experience required
- 2+ years of Paralegal or Law Clerk experience required
- Personal injury litigation experience strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- Strong writing, proofreading, grammar, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PDF software, and standard office technology
- Strong attention to detail and document formatting ability
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
