About the Opportunity
An established California law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Sacramento office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside accomplished litigators on sophisticated civil litigation matters while supporting attorneys across both the Sacramento and Bay Area offices.

What You'll Do
- Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through resolution
- Draft, review, and organize:
- Pleadings
- Discovery requests and responses
- Motions
- Subpoenas
- Legal correspondence
- Manage document production, discovery, and litigation files
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Coordinate:
- Depositions
- Hearings
- Mediations
- Expert witnesses
- Trial logistics
- Prepare:
- Trial binders
- Exhibits
- Witness files
- Other trial materials
- File documents electronically in California state and federal courts
- Maintain litigation calendars and monitor deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, vendors, and litigation support professionals
- Provide litigation support to attorneys in both the Sacramento and Bay Area offices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm required
- Strong knowledge of California civil litigation procedures
- Experience managing litigation matters from inception through trial preparation preferred
- Experience with:
- Discovery
- Trial preparation
- Document management
- Court filings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple active matters while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $80,000 – $105,000, depending on experience
