We are partnering with a highly regarded, growth-focused family law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong operational support, modern legal technology, and a client-focused service model.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as lead counsel on litigation-driven family law matters, including high-conflict cases
- Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
- Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep
- Develop and execute case strategy aligned with client goals
- Work closely with paralegals and support staff to drive case progress
- Collaborate with financial experts, custody evaluators, and outside professionals
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
- Step in to support firmwide litigation needs as required
Ideal Candidate Profile
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing in Texas
- 5+ years of family law litigation experience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Texas Family Code & civil procedure
- Trial or jury trial experience strongly valued
- Experience with high-asset divorce and contested custody matters
- Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
- Highly organized with strong case management ability
- Comfortable using legal tech and case management systems
- Self-directed, reliable, and team-oriented
- Board Certification in Family Law is a plus but not required.
