About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a highly regarded, growth-focused family law firm seeking an experienced Family Law Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team. You will work alongside a collaborative team with strong operational support, modern legal technology, and a client-focused service model.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as lead counsel on litigation-driven family law matters, including high-conflict cases
• Handle court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial prep
• Develop and execute case strategy aligned with client goals
• Work closely with paralegals and support staff to drive case progress
• Collaborate with financial experts, custody evaluators, and outside professionals
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to team development
• Step in to support firmwide litigation needs as required

Ideal Candidate Profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Licensed and in good standing in Texas
• 5+ years of family law litigation experience (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Texas Family Code & civil procedure
• Trial or jury trial experience strongly valued
• Experience with high-asset divorce and contested custody matters
• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills
• Highly organized with strong case management ability
• Comfortable using legal tech and case management systems
• Self-directed, reliable, and team-oriented
• Board Certification in Family Law is a plus but not required.
