Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Support:

  • Post job openings in key areas based upon staffing needs.
  • Screen resumes for the top talent and maintain candidate databases.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates.

Onboarding and Offboarding:

  • Prepare new hire paperwork and facilitate the onboarding process.
  • Process offboarding paperwork and conduct exit interviews.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Benefits administration:
  • Collaborate with department managers regarding staffing needs.
  • Track and maintain the team’s PTO and Unpaid Time Off.
  • Process HR-related invoices and expense reports.
  • Generate quarterly HR reports as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain company job descriptions.
  • Prepare, maintain, distribute, and enforce Company Policies & Procedures.
  • Assist with ensuring team members are meeting company training standards.
  • Track team certifications and licenses.
  • Tracking industry trends to determine effectiveness

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with federal and local labor laws and mandates.
  • Assist in preparing for audits and maintaining necessary documentation.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in resolving basic employee relations issues.
  • Perform performance reviews.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in HR - knowledge of the Civil Engineering Industry is a Plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with Industry Standard Compensation
  • Familiar with Executive Level Compensation
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ADP systems, and HRIS.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a Plus.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, ability to maintain confidentiality, and strong problem-solving skills.


Compensation: The compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skill set, and physical work location
