What You'll Do

  • Draft complaints and coordinate filing and service of process
  • Draft and respond to written discovery
  • Manage discovery throughout the litigation process, including:
  • Tracking outstanding requests
  • Following up on responses
  • Identifying deficiencies
  • Prepare:
  • Deficiency letters
  • Motions
  • Legal correspondence
  • Assist attorneys with:
  • Depositions
  • Exhibits
  • Trial preparation
  • Manage litigation files from filing through resolution
  • Maintain litigation calendars, deadlines, and case status updates
  • Track workflows and case progress using Smartsheet and related systems
  • Proactively identify next steps and keep cases moving without requiring direction
  • Utilize Microsoft Copilot and other technology tools to improve document review and workflow efficiency
  • Help develop and improve internal processes that support a productive litigation practice


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
  • Strong experience drafting and managing written discovery
  • Ability to independently manage multiple active litigation files
  • Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and workflow management tools preferred
  • Subrogation or insurance litigation experience preferred
  • Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot is a plus

  • Salary range: $85,000 – $100,000, depending on experience
